Science has revealed the many health benefits of using music, sound, and singing to lower stress, boost immunity, enhance lung function, improve memory, reduce inflammation, and aid creativity and meditation. This two-part workshop will explore scientific studies in this area, combined with relevant teachings and our own individual and collaborative contributions. We will explore how music for the body, mind, and spirit can help us fulfill our inner potential, soothe and relax, or transport us to inner realms of consciousness. The singing voice is an important part of this journey, in combination with other instruments and songs that lift us up in times of pain, grief, fear, or struggle. No musical experience is required.
$150 for 2 parts / July 23rd & August 6
