A webinar in two parts exploring the conception of using the bass and voice as a primary performance medium and its historical context.

Part 1 will focus on the main innovator NEA Jazz Master Sheila Jordan, bass players who have contributed to the style, repertoire and foundational techniques.

Part 2 will focus on current and future innovations, musicians and suggestions from both vocalist Ellen Johnson and bassist Aaron Germain.

Open to vocalists, bassists or the general public. There will be an opportunity on each session for 5 singers to get feedback on their bass and voice duo performance using background tracks or pre-recorded tracks. CONTACT in advance to get on the list before paying.
